Rochester RTS set to complete construction of bus facility in Wyoming County

The Regional Transit Service (RTS) in Rochester, NY, broke ground on its new facility in Wyoming County. Construction is now underway and scheduled for completion in late summer or early fall of 2024.
When the 20,000 square foot facility is complete, it will include:
- 9 indoor bus bays;
- A vehicle wash bay with an automated drive-through bus wash system;
- Administrative office space;
- A break room that doubles as a training room; and
- Designated parking.
Ninety percent of the funding for this $10.3 million project comes from the federal and state governments, with the remaining 10 percent covered by RTS.
